Bauxite oil is an industrial material mainly composed of activated bauxite, possessing strong adsorption, catalysis, and decolorization purification functions. Before application, it needs to be heated to 80-100℃ to activate its adsorption performance. Exceeding 300℃ will cause structural changes and affect its effectiveness.

Hongda Oil Pressing Machinery takes you to understand the introduction and uses of kaolin oil

I. Basic Characteristics

Activated clay oil is an industrial material mainly composed of activated clay, possessing strong adsorption, catalytic, and decolorizing purification capabilities. Before application, it needs to be heated to 80-100℃ to activate its adsorption performance; exceeding 300℃ will cause structural changes affecting its effectiveness.

II. Core Applications

Oil Refining
Used for decolorizing animal and vegetable oils and mineral oils, removing pigments such as chlorophyll and carotene; decolorization rate can reach 85-95%.
Adsorbs harmful substances such as aflatoxins and benzo(a)pyrene in oils, improving oil quality safety and stability.

Petroleum Processing
Decolorizes and purifies petroleum resins, paraffin wax, kerosene, and other products, improving their appearance and quality.

Chemical Industry
Used as a catalyst carrier, insecticide/pesticide dispersant, and filler for rubber and plastics.
Used for radioactive waste adsorption and as a flocculant in wastewater treatment.

Other Fields
Paper industry: Used as a duplicating paper dye and filler.
Forestry and environmental protection: Made into fire extinguisher powder and an adhesive for removing oil stains from water.

III. Product Classification and Specifications

Industrial grade: Suitable for large-scale production in petroleum and chemical industries; common specifications are 200 kg/barrel.
Food grade: Meets safety standards, used for edible oil refining and wine clarification.

IV. Application Notes

Strict filtration techniques are required to separate the adsorbed activated clay oil from the oil product to avoid residue.
It is not a hazardous chemical, but it needs to be stored properly to avoid high-temperature failure.
